Researchers found that 67% of family members with a predisposition towards Alzheimer’s also had extremely low blood levels of vitamin B12 as compared to others.  They theorized that the deficiency most likely caused, impaired central nervous system reactions.

Treatment for low levels of Vitamin  B12  is simple…The doctor will prescribe a higher dosage of B12 which could be administered either through injections or infusions.

Your physician will also ensure to test your blood levels at periodic intervals to make sure that your vitamin dose is adjusted to the appropriate levels.

Some people have been known to take a shot of vitamin B12 as a supplemental vitamin just as a precaution against developing Alzheimer’s.
